Mustangs shut out on the road

North Moore looses conference game on the road. The Mustangs traveled to Southeast Alamance for their second conference game of the season. The Mustangs defeated Northwood in their first conference game of the season at home before going into the BYE.

Friday the Mustangs traveled to Southeast Alamance for their first ever meeting. Northwood and Southeast Alamance are both new to the conference.

Turnovers didn’t help the Mustangs in the first half. Hoping for a second half redemption like two weeks ago, the Mustangs opened the second half with a recovered onside kick. They would drive, but were held inside the 10. Later on in the third, the Mustangs recovered a fumble but again were stopped at the two yard line.

Southeast Alamance shut out the Mustangs 33-0. The Mustangs move to 2-2 over all and 1-1 in conference. North Moore will travel to Jordan-Mathews next Friday night for a conference game.
