Dual Team Wrestling Brackets are set

NCHSAA released the Dual Team Wrestling brackets Thursday. North Moore, Union Pines, and Pinecrest all will begin their bid for a team, dual state title on Saturday.

North Moore Mustangs finished with a 17-13 record with an overall 24th ranking. They will head to Thomasville for round one and possibly two as a 6th seed to take on #11 South Stanley. If the Mustangs advance to the third round, they will play the matches on Wednesday.

The Union Pines Vikings received a #1 overall ranking with a 27-0 record. They will host the first two rounds on Saturday and will take on #16 South Johnston. The winner will take on #8 C.B. Aycock or #9 Seventy-First. They have scheduled the third and Regional rounds for Wednesday.

Holding the 5th overall ranking, the Pinecrest Patriots have a season record of 13-1. Ranked 3rd, the Patriots will host the first two rounds and take on #14 Rolesville. The Patriots will look to take on #6 Millbrook or #11 Hoke County.
