The Lady Vikings take down undefeated Jack Britt.

The Lady Vikings went to Fayetteville Wednesday to take on the undefeated Jack Britt Buccaneers. The Buccaneers defeated the Vikings earlier this season and were 7-0 coming into last night’s match. The Vikings went into the match 5-3 overall and 1-1 in SAC play.

It took the Vikings 4 sets to get the win, but were able to do so with great performances by:

Mylee Scruggs: 22 Digs, 16 Service Points, 3 Aces 

Sydney Hay: 18 Digs, 17 Assists 

Allie Bauer: 16 Assists, 8 Service Points, 5 Digs 

Ellie Chapin: 15 Kills, 14 Digs, 5 Service Points, 3 Aces 

Katie Burley: 12 Service Points, 10 Digs 

Madeline Adair: 10 Digs, 7 Kills

Savannah McCaskill: 6 Digs, 4 Kills, 4 Blocks 

Alleigh Mabe: 6 Service Points, 4 Kills, 4 Digs, 3 Blocks 

The Vikings won Set 1: 25-14, Set 2: 25-15, and Set 4: 25-22. They lost Set 3: 23-25.

The Lady Vikings are now 6-3 overall and remain 1-1 in SAC play. They will play tonight at home against conference opponent, Richmond.

Lady Vikings JV team were defeated last night 0-2 and are now 6-3 also on three season.
