Lady Grunts finish historical season with titles

The Lady Grunts from Father Vincent Capodanno High School rode to a hard fought victory Friday at the day-long Central Carolina Christian Conference Volleyball Tournament.  Hosted in Fayetteville by Northview Baptist Academy, the Tournament went into the evening bringing together the eight teams within the conference in a double elimination event. 

The Lady Grunts walked away with the Tournament Championship and were voted as the Best Sportsman by the other conference coaches.  Freshman Aubrey Driscoll (#11) was awarded the Tournament MVP Award.

The Lady Grunts also won the regular season title. This was their first season in a conference.
