Mustang Soccer downed by Hobbton in 5th round

North Moore Men’s Soccer season came to an end on Tuesday. The Mustangs traveled to Hobbton for the Final Four round of the NCHSAA 1A playoffs.

Hobbton put the ball in the net in the first half to go up 1-0. They scored again in the second half to go 2-0, before the Mustangs could get the ball in the net. The Mustangs took several shots at the net while trailing 2-1 in the last 10 minutes. Hobbton defended the goal well, stopping the Mustangs from tying the match.

In the final two minutes of the game, Hobbton scored their 3rd goal of the match to send them to the State Championship.

North Moore ends their season with a 15-5-2 record.
