Mustangs end of season struggles continue
The Mustangs struggle’s continue with a home loss against Seaforth on Monday.
After going most of the season undefeated, the Mustangs have now lost three out of their last four games.
Seaforth took an early 1-0 lead in the first half and held that lead into halftime. “The 2nd half was quite different from the first half. We were able to score 2 goals,” said coach Peralta.
North Moore and Seaforth went into overtime, after a Seaforth score the Mustangs couldn’t capitalize.
“We have been struggling throughout the season with being able to finish. We have a couple of injuries, including our sophomore and a leader of this team, Chris “guero” Betancourt, who has been out for a couple of weeks,” said Peralta.
The Mustangs have two regular season games left. The will host Graham on Wednesday and Cummings on Monday.
“We are striving to close the season with victories from these next two games so that we can have a good momentum for the playoffs,” said Peralta.
