Mustangs rank 3rd, Patriots rank 5th for NCHSAA soccer tournaments
The NCHSAA Men’s Soccer Brackets were finalized on Saturday. The North Moore Mustangs are ranked a three seed in the tournament.
The tournament schedule is as follows from the NCHSAA press release.
All rounds leading up to the state championships will be contested at the higher seed. The State Championship Matches will be held at MacPherson Stadium in Browns Summit on November 17-18.
1st Round Playoffs: October 30, 2023
2nd Round Playoffs: November 2, 2023
3rd Round Playoffs: November 6, 2023
4th Round Playoffs: November 9, 2023
Regionals: November 14, 2023
State Championships - Day 1: November 17, 2023
State Championships - Day 2: November 18, 2023
The 11-4-2 Mustangs will host the 30th ranked Roxboro Community School, who has a record of 6-13-1. They will play this first round game at North Moore on Monday at 7 p.m.
The 5th ranked Pinecrest Patriots, with a record of 17-4-1 will host 12-8-2 Fuquay - Varina, who are ranked 28th. They will play this game at Pinecrest on Monday at 6 p.m.
