Coach Trousdale resigns as Vikings Head Coach
Coach Trousdale is coming off a 2-8 season with a 1-5 conference record. His three-year career record at Union Pines is 7-23 overall, and 3-14 in conference play.

Union Pines High School Bids Farewell to Coach Trousdale.
Carthage, N.C. – Union Pines High School announces the resignation of Head Football Coach Jason Trousdale, effective November 3, 2023.
Coach Trousdale served as Defensive Coordinator for two years before taking on the role of Head Coach in 2021. During his tenure with Union Pines, Coach Trousdale infused the football program with dynamic energy and guided it towards a positive trajectory.
Coach Trousdale expressed, “I am thankful for the opportunity and look forward to the next chapter in my life. The support from the administration, staff, and community has been outstanding, and my family and I will be forever thankful.”
Union Pines is thankful for his significant contributions and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
Union Pines High School maintains its commitment to the growth and success of the football program. The school will immediately begin the search for the next head football coach.
