Lady Viking Lacrosse defeated top NC team

Lady Vikings Lacrosse team defeated Northwood for the first time in program history.

The Vikings have never defeated one of the top ranked programs in NCHSAA. The Northwood Chargers were the second raked team in the 1A, 2A, and 3A Class last season. The Vikings held the third spot in the rankings.

Lady Vikings hosted the Chargers on Monday evening and won 08-6. Player stats are as follows:
