Vikings and Patriots set to play in SAC Championship

The Lady Vikings defeated Scotland 3-0 Tuesday evening at Union Pines in the SAC semifinals to advance to the conference championship.

Set 1: 25-19, Set 2: 25-12, Set 3: 25-13.

Tyne Ross: 14 Kills, 13 Digs, 6 Service Points

Sydney Hay: 19 Assists, 6 Service Points

Mylee Scruggs: 13 Digs, 6 Service Points

Allie Bauer: 12 Assists, 7 Service Points

Alleigh Mabe: 3 Blocks

Madeline Adair: 5 Kills

The Vikings will travel to Pinecrest on Wednesday to play in the SAC Championship.

Pinecrest defeated Richmond 3-0 to advance to the SAC Championship against Union Pines. This will be the team’s third meeting this season. The Patriots have won both meetings so far.

Pinecrest won 25-10, 25-14, 25-16.
