Vikings basketball teams head to their home opener 2-0.

The men’s basketball team won their second game at Montgomery Central Thursday night, 83-43.

The Vikings were led by Omari Walker with 17 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals. Kingsley Donaldson had 15 points,and 4 rebounds, Aiden Leonard had 13 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals, Tyreek Legrand had 10 points and 4 steals, Jaydon Harrell had 10 points giving the Vikings a well rounded win.

The ladies also defeated Montgomery Central 68-27. Senior guard Ashanti Fox led the Vikings with 34 points, including five treys, and 7 assists. Sophomore guard Gianna Maheu had 12 pints, and senior guard Taryn Pekala had 11 points. Junior Savannah McCaskill had 11 rebounds, and five blocks. 

Both teams are now 2-0 and will host South Johnston tonight.
