Father Capodanno Grunts enter final stretch of the season
The Grunts are sitting at 2-10 on their season, and have eight scheduled games left this season. The Grunts are in their first year of conference play. Jonah Marsh, Sam Attar, and Luke Moon lead the team. Moon is leading the offensive with 60 points averaging 20 points per game. He also is shooting 80% from the free throw line. The Lady Grunts are looking to bring home their first conference championship for basketball and their second school conference title in history. The Ladies are under new leadership this season and with seven scheduled games to go they are sitting at 7-4 on the season. They Lady Grunts are undefeated at home 3-0, 4-2 on the road, and 0-2 on neutral court. They have put up 368 points while allowing 394 points to be scored against them. They are on a three game winning streak heading into the final stretch of the season.
Jullie Attar leads the Lady Grunts with an average of 16.9 points per game, 67% from the free throw line and scoring 169 points so far this season. The Ladies will travel to Falcon Christian Academy on the 16th at 4:30 p.m.
