North Moore soccer wins second game in a hard fought match Monday night.

Moore County saw the North Moore Mustangs in action Friday night at the Moore County Kick-off Classic. It is 25 miles from North Moore to Pinecrest with Union Pines in the middle, so most fans do not get the chance to see teams other than their schools play. That’s what made Friday night special. Everyone got a look at all three teams.

Northwood is one of two new teams joining the conference with North Moore, they were a 3A team last year.

“It will definitely be an adjustment for us. The last couple of years, we played four non-conference games and then had a bye week. Those two non-conference games are going to be very important to figure out who we are, what we do well and what we don’t do well and be able to walk into Northwood our first conference game,” said Carrouth.
