Patriots win third straight

Patriots are off to a 3-0 start after winning big at home on Thursday night. The Patriots hosted Oak Grove for their third game of the season.

Oak Grove scored first in the top of the 1st, but the lead was short-lived. Patriots Mitch Baek and Addison Roth both got on in the first inning with singles and collecting two RBIs each. Pinecrest had a big inning in the 4th with base hits and RBIs from Bryant Kimbrell, and Grayson Hudgins. Addison Roth and John Carre both were hit by pitch.

Oak Grove’s Dalton Mendenhall hit a homer in the fifth scoring three runs, but the Patriots scored two more in the 5th to seal the deal.

Conner Tepatti went 4 for 4 for the Patriots, Bryant Kinbrell went 2 for 4 scored once and earned two RBIs. Every Patriot seen the plate, six hit the ball for a team total of 10 hits. In the 4-12 win, the Patriots had nine batters walked, 10 struck out, and 11 RBIs.

The Patriots will host 4-0 Myers Park tomorrow at 6 p.m.
